I have survived child sexual abuse as well as having battered women's syndrome. God is now healing me from the trauma and PTSD that a marriage of 16 years of physical, mental and emotional abuse brought. God is not only healing He is also restoring my marriage and our family. Thank you Lord for giving me the courage to speak out about this all to hidden topic, I love you Lord. I am being real by opening up and sharing about my being a survivor of abuse. Survivor of multiple life trauma's, being sexually abused at 8, mom's suicide at 12, being raped, and for most of my life mentally and emotionally abused. The last 17 years I have been in an abusive marriage and finally after an almost divorce our family is starting to heal. I am labled with PTSD, Trauma, Battered wife syndrome, psychosis and depression but after 2yrs of therapy I feel like I'm learning to live again. I am remarkable because I’m not just surviving anymore, I’m choosing to thrive. I love driving by myself and enjoying the peace, quiet and scenic beauty that reminds me of how glorious our God is.
